Direct flights around 4.5–5 hours

When Germany turns grey and cold, Sharm El Sheikh is still enjoying warm, dry days in the mid-20s °C. Direct flights from major German airports such as Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf, Berlin, Hamburg and Stuttgart reach Sharm El Sheikh International Airport (SSH) in around four and a half to five hours, depending on the season and airline. You land the same day, and Egypt is only one hour ahead of Germany for most of the year — no jet lag, just sunshine.

  1. What we arrange for travellers from Germany

    • Hotel booking at hand-picked resorts, from adults-only hideaways to family resorts with water parks — with a best-rate request for your dates
    • Private airport transfers from SSH to your hotel and back, timed to your flight number
    • Excursions with hotel pick-up: yacht days, snorkelling, diving, desert safaris and evenings in town
    • A contact in your language: write to us on WhatsApp or call our German number before and during your stay
  2. Entry requirements for German citizens

German citizens staying only in the South Sinai resorts (Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Nuweiba, Taba) for up to 15 days can usually enter with a free “Sinai only” stamp. If you want to visit Cairo, Luxor or stay longer, you need a regular visa on arrival or an e-visa. Your passport should be valid for at least six months. Rules can change, so always check the current travel advice of the German Federal Foreign Office before you fly — we are happy to confirm the latest requirements for you.

  3. The best time to fly from Germany

October to April is the classic season for German travellers: perfect winter sun, calm seas and sea temperatures that stay pleasant for snorkelling. Autumn and Easter holidays are popular, so book early if you travel with school-age children. From June to September it is hot — often above 35 °C — which suits sun lovers and divers who want the warmest water of the year.

  4. Which part of Sharm suits you?

Prefer to walk to restaurants and nightlife? Look at Naama Bay. Travelling with children and want space? Nabq Bay has large family resorts. Keen snorkeller? Choose a hotel with a house reef in Sharks Bay or Ras Nasrani. Tell us what matters to you and we suggest two or three resorts that fit.

  5. Popular add-ons for your week

Most of our guests from Germany combine relaxing days by the pool with one or two highlights: a yacht trip to Ras Mohammed and White Island, a snorkelling day at Tiran Island or a quad bike safari into the Sinai desert. We book them with hotel pick-up, so you never have to worry about getting there.

How long is the flight from Germany to Sharm El Sheikh?

Direct flights from airports such as Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf or Berlin take around four and a half to five hours. Exact times depend on the departure airport, the airline and the season. Most flights land in the afternoon or evening, and our driver meets you at Sharm El Sheikh International Airport for the short transfer to your hotel.

Can I speak German with your team?

Yes. We offer service in German as well as English, Arabic and Russian. You can call our German number, +49 160 95874910, or write to us on WhatsApp. We answer questions about hotels, transfers and excursions before you travel and stay reachable throughout your holiday.

Do I need a visa as a German citizen?

For stays of up to 15 days only in the South Sinai resorts, German citizens can usually enter with a free “Sinai only” stamp. For trips to Cairo or Luxor, or longer stays, a visa on arrival or an e-visa is required. Check the German Federal Foreign Office for the latest rules; we are glad to confirm them for your travel dates.

Can you book only the hotel and transfer if I already have flights?

Absolutely. Many travellers from Germany book their flights directly with the airline and ask us for the rest. Send us your flight details and preferences, and we will suggest suitable resorts, arrange the private airport transfer and add any excursions you would like during your stay.

Ready for the Red Sea?

Send us your dates and we will come back with a tailored Sharm El Sheikh offer — usually the same day.
