Ras Mohammed & White Island Yacht Trip
Sail into Ras Mohammed National Park and anchor at the White Island sandbank for swimming and snorkelling over world-famous coral reefs.

A day on the water in Ras Mohammed National Park is the experience most visitors remember long after their holiday. Your yacht leaves from Sharm El Sheikh marina and cruises south along the coast to the tip of the Sinai Peninsula, where the Gulf of Suez and the Gulf of Aqaba meet. The park protects some of the richest coral reefs in the Red Sea, with walls of colourful coral, turtles and large schools of fish.
How the day works
The crew usually plans two or three snorkelling stops at the best reefs for the day’s sea conditions, and a stop at White Island — a bright sandbank that appears in the middle of turquoise water, perfect for swimming and photos. Lunch is served on board between stops, and there is plenty of time to relax on the sun deck.
Good to know
The trip suits families, couples and first-time snorkellers; life jackets are available and the crew helps beginners. Bring your passport or a copy for the marina check, sunscreen that is reef-safe, a towel and a hat. National park fees and the exact programme depend on the boat and the season, so we confirm every detail in your offer. Prefer privacy? Ask about a private yacht for your family or group.

Questions about this trip

Still have a question?
Send it on WhatsApp — a real person from our team replies, in your language.
WhatsAppIs the Ras Mohammed yacht trip suitable for non-swimmers?
Yes. Non-swimmers can enjoy the cruise, the views and the sun deck, and many join snorkelling with a life jacket while a crew member stays close. At White Island the water is shallow near the sandbank. Let us know in advance so we can choose a boat with experienced guides for beginners.
What should I bring on the yacht trip?
Bring your passport or a copy for the marina check, swimwear, a towel, a hat, sunglasses and reef-safe sunscreen. A light jacket is useful in winter, when the wind on deck can feel cool. Snorkelling equipment is usually provided, but you are welcome to bring your own mask if you prefer.
Can we book a private yacht?
Yes. For families, groups and special occasions we can arrange a private yacht to Ras Mohammed and White Island, subject to availability. You choose the pace and the stops, and we can add extras such as a birthday cake or a special lunch. Ask early during holiday periods.
What happens if the sea is too rough?
Safety comes first. If the port authority closes the marina or the captain decides conditions are unsafe, the trip is moved to another day or the route is adjusted to sheltered reefs. We will contact you as early as possible and help you rebook on a day that suits your plans.
